Photocell Control Panel for Packing Software

Photocell control panel for packing machine is a micro controller based system acting as a supervisory control system to apply the necessary correction to the feed mechanism to compensate for the slip in the feeder mechanism. The system basically monitors the status of the photocell, which in turn depends on the position of registration marker and compares it with the position of the limit switches.  If both alignments are proper the forward and reverse limit switches will be off and the system need not do any corrections. If the forward limit switch is on the system gives a control signal to the power module to turn the feed correction motor in the forward direction. If the reverse limit switch is on, the feed correction motor is turned in the reverse direction. The amount of correction applied can also be adjusted to meet the various feed speed requirements. The system also has provision for detecting low supply voltage and also can be interfaced to an external heater failure detection circuit
